LOUISIANA HIGHWAY 1, PHASE 1C - PORT FOURCHON TO LEEVILLE LAFOURCHE PARISH, LOUISIANA

Phase 1C of the Louisiana Highway 1 project involved the construction of a 0.165-mile main span structure over Bayou Lafourche. Contract modifications included the removal of structures and obstructions (an abandoned house within the right-of-way) and provision of the staffing and the harbor patrol vessel.

The new bridge was opened to the public two months early.
