CARGILL SHIPLOADER REPLACEMENT

Westwego, Louisiana

For this project, Massman replaced the existing shiploader within Tower 1 with a new Buhler shiploader at Cargill's Westwego, Louisiana, terminal facility. The scope of work required removal of the existing shiploader and associated components, structural demolitions, structural modifications to Tower 1 to accept the new unit, installation of a new transfer conveyor, and installation of the new shiploader with associated components. Massman performed commissioning as well as tests, trials, and system check-outs of the new shiploader, transfer conveyor, and modified dust system.
